Kuopio Innovation Ltd. transfers its consultancy company TekInno (Shanghai) Ltd to Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus

 

Kuopio Innovation Ltd.  transfers its consultancy company TekInno (Shanghai) Ltd to Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus to create a fast and cost efficient way for Finnish and Scandinavian companies in their endeavor to enter the China’s market.

TekInno was established in 2005 and focuses its work on assisting Finnish and European companies in their China business endeavor with one-stop service. TekInno supports today some tens clients including Vaisala, VTI Technologies, and Viherasema from Helsinki.

Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus (NSiC) was established 2006 and is a business and industrial centre in Nanjing Science Park, focusing on assisting Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME) to establish and run a business in China. NSiC is established and owned by a group of mainly private Scandinavian and Finnish investors.

Kuopio Innovation Ltd is part of the
Technopolis Oy one of the Europe's largest technology center operators. At Kuopio Science Park  19 000 people within walking distance work and study in the fields of health, wellbeing and environment technologies.

“The combination of the two companies strengthens NSiC’s competence in health, health care, nutrition and clean tech. It also adds a presence in Shanghai with offices for rent, incubation- and consultancy services” says
Ulf Malmerberg MD of NSiC. “Further, TekInno clients can easily and costs efficient expand their activities in China by setting up an operation in NSIC’s newly built 26 000 square meters facilities in Nanjing” says Ulf Malmerberg.

The acquisition is subject to the final approval by the competent authorities in China.
