Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus (NSIC) was founded in 2006 by Mankato Investments AG and three other Swedes in cooperation with Panda Electronics Group in China. The business purpose was to build an industrial park for Scandinavian companies and use our own China experience together with Panda’s extensive network in the Chinese industry and authorities to help small and medium sized companies to set up and run a business in China. Financing has been secured through 2 new shares issues in 2006 and 2007. Today, NSIC is owned by 24 private investors of which the very majority are Swedish. Main owner is Anders Torstensson through his investment company Mankato Investments AG, owning around 30%. In 2008, NSIC acquired TekInno (Shanghai) Ltd from Kuoipo Innovation Oy, a finnish company owned by the municipality of Kuopio in Finland. The purpose was to expand NSIC into Shanghai with a business incubator and consultancy services. NSIC has offices in Nanjing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Stockholm, Malmö och Zug. |

Mankato Investments AG is the largest shareholder in NSIC. Mankato Investments AG is an independent venture capital company founded in 2004 by Anders Torstensson and Lars Lindqvist. The founders has a vast experience from doing business in China and with a long lasting business relationship with Panda Electronics Group Co., Ltd. Investments are made in the segments Communication Services, Communication Products, Medical Products and Industrial Services.
