Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus launches its business concept at Globe Forums yearly event Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus (NSIC) is a service company specializing in facilitating for small and medium sized companies from Scandinavia and other countries to establish a business in China. NSIC offers a fast, safe and cost efficient way to set up and run a business in China in campus atmosphere together with other companies in a similar situation. NSIC is owned and managed by Swedes with a long experience doing business with China and is established in cooperation with Panda Electronics Group—one of Chinas largest electronics groups and supported by the management of Nanjing Science Park. NSIC was established in 2006 and is financed by private equity. NSIC invests in 140 000 sqm industrial land in Nanjing Jiangning Science Park and is currently developing Phase 1 consisting of 26 000 sqm office and industrial buildings. Small and medium sized enterprises can rent facilities and get tailor made services such as legal company establishment, contacts with banks and authorities, recruitment of key personnel etc. For larger scale operations we can make build-to-suit facilities. Major industries in Nanjing are electronics, automobile, chemical, steel and power. The electronic and chemical industry ranks number two in China and the auto manufacturing ranks in the front row of cities in China. Nanjing is one of the central cities for finance business and distribution in China with over 1,300 local and foreign banks. Nanjing is one of China's four most important university cities with 38 universities and 440 000 students. Some 1700 international companies, including 30 of Forbes top-500 have already found Jiangning to be an excellent business location |
