Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus Limited (NSIC) brings in another SEK 21 million in a new shares issue. For Phase 2 of the construction of the industrial campus. Total share capital is now SEK 44 millions.

 

NSIC is building an industrial campus for small and medium sized Scandinavian enterprises in Nanjing Jiangning Science Park in China and is therefore investing in 140 000 sqm industrial land and develops in the first phase  26 000 sqm office and factory facilities. Groundbreaking for Phase 1 was in August 2007 and is planned to be ready in first quarter 2008.

 

This new equity will mainly secure financing of Phase 2.  “We have seen such a big interest for NSIC and our business so want to secure financing of the next phase already now” says Ulf Malmerberg, President for NSIC, and continues “many companies are interested in our concept where you can set up a business together with other companies and can get help with a variety of questions and support from our local organization”.

 

Phase 2 includes additional office. Planning will start during 2008.

Nanjing Scandinavian Industrial Campus is a service company, with own office and industrial facilities in China, building an industrial campus for small and medium sized enterprises that wants to establish an operation in Kina in a fast, safe and cost efficient manner. In addition to renting out office and factory space, NSIC offers services and contacts to facilitate the establishment and operation of a business.  NSIC is owned and managed by Swedes with a long experience doing business with China as well as a broad contact network to secure the startup.
